Imagine only God’s will be done in your life. How freeing and liberating. Instead of trying to do your own will and God’s, why not live your life God’s way?

At the end of June 2017, the Lord led me to the passage of Scripture where Jesus was praying to the Father before Jesus went to the cross. He knew He was going to suffer the ultimate sacrifice but still was willing to NOT do His will but the Father’s will.

One of the greatest gifts the Lord has given you is the Freedom of Choice. You GET to choose each day whatever you would like to do. But what if you ONLY chose what God wanted you to choose? How would your life change for the better?

God Created You To Live FOR HIM.

The question you need to ask yourself is…

Am I living FOR GOD?

I’d like you to be honest with your answer. God is the only who really knows if you are TOTALLY LIVING for Him or not. So why not ask Him right now?

Accept His answer. He wants to help you to live completely for Him and the great news is you DON’T have to figure it out. It does require you to surrender your ways for His ways. I’m sure you would agree with me, that God’s ways are always the BEST WAYS.

So how do you go from living a life of doing your will and God’s will, to a life of only “God’s Will Be Done”?

2 Life Changing Words

First of all, you are not going to do this by yourself. God did not ask you to do this alone. He wants you to go to Him each day and say to Him…

Help me.

You know what? He will. God loves to help you. He created you to be totally dependent upon Him. Either you are trusting God with all your heart or you’re still trying to figure things out on your own. (Proverbs 3:5 AMP)

Freedom From Analyzing

Years ago, I used to be very analytical. I tried to figure things out. I used to imagine what life could be like. The problem was it wasn’t from God.

When I was analytical I was simply saying to God, “I can figure this out on my own. I don’t need You in this case.”

It really came down to a Trust issue I had with God. I did not trust Him in a way where I could stop analyzing everything. But the more I got to KNOW Him, the more I learned to trust Him.

He tells us to, “Be still and I know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)

Truly Knowing God

How do we get to a place to being still where we GET to know who God truly is to us?

“Be still” means to relax, sink and be quiet.

Look at that definition again. It’s doable for you do that, isn’t it?

When you ask the Lord to help you with this, I promise you He WILL help you because He wants you to know who He is in your life.

“Know” means to perceive, be acquainted with and know by experience.

I wasn’t acquainted with nor knew the Lord by experience when I was trying to figure things out on my own. Honestly I was afraid of Him. If you are afraid of someone, do you really want to know them by experience?

Daddy Loves YOU

For you and me to trust Him, we MUST know Him as a Loving Father. Do you?

It took YEARS for me to see Him as loving, but recently He showed me He is MY LOVING DADDY. Now calling God Almighty “Daddy” was a stretch for me, but that is what He wants me to call Him. You know what happened next?

I felt His love. I was more willing to come to Him because I saw Him as not only a Loving Daddy, but MY Loving Daddy. My prayer for you is that you see Him as YOUR Loving Daddy too.

I really felt more comfortable going to Him knowing He loved me and accepted just as I am. The more I GOT to know Him, the more I wanted for His Will to come to pass not only in my life but for others too.

Surrendering Is Freeing

Surrendering your will for God’s will can be one of the most liberating, freeing, best decisions of your life. I promise you. I know firsthand what it’s like and I want you to experience this freedom as well.

Again you cannot do this by yourself. You MUST ask God to help you with this life transforming decision.

You also have to realize that others lives are at stake here. This decision of “Not my will but God’s will be done” can impact nations. It really can, but you won’t know that until you make this decision with God’s help.

Ask Him what your life will look like when it is only God’s will being done in your life. Don’t you think it will be MUCH better than what you are living right now?

He will give you HOPE to live the life you are meant to live when you ask Him for it.

I like to quote the end of James 4:2. “…you have not, because you ask not.” I remember the first time I shared this with someone, the Lord said, “Take the ‘not’s’ out of the Scripture and what does it say?”

You HAVE because you ASK.

If you have not asked for only God’s will to be done in your life, then you don’t have it YET.

Think about the magnitude of this one question. It will literally change your life only for the better. You are ONE Question away from living your life God’s Way.

Go ahead and ask Him to help you live only His will and not yours anymore. I promise you He WILL answer your request with a resounding…

YES!!!

How do you think your life will now be different living it only God’s way?
