Man looking and waitingAre you still learning how to wait on God? God wants you to know, that when you prayed according to His will, He ANSWERED you the FIRST time.

Since He did answer you, then you need to have a new perspective when discover how to wait on God. How do you do that?

TRUST GOD

You must settle in your heart, that what God says is TRUE. Titus 1:2 tells you that God CANNOT lie to you. Since He cannot lie, that means He is always telling you the Truth. You must TRUST Him at His Word.

If there is ONE you can trust, it is God. He is always faithful. He is always trustworthy. You can trust Him because He created you to trust Him with all your heart. When you do trust God, you will know how to wait on God in His perfect peace.

THANK GOD

A few years ago, the Lord showed me how I can know I am believing Him. He told me when I THANK Him I am believing Him. In other words, when you pray according to His will, you have the confidence that He answers your prayer. You say THANK YOU in response to His “YES” answer.

For example, when someone gives you a gift, what is your response? Thank you. The more you thank God, the more it will help you wait on God in patience for your prayers to manifest. So thank God before, during and after the manifestations, OK?

LOVE GOD

God is LOVE. He created you in His Image and after His likeness. You can love Him. When you CHOOSE to love God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength, it changes your focus. You will be able to rest in His presence when you know how to wait on God.

One of my favorite Soaking Prayers I love to share with others is called “God’s Love For You.” It was recorded a few years ago after I had led a Bible Study with several Bible College students. God presence was so strong that you could feel His love as we waited on Him. You can hear it here.

MAGNIFY GOD

What you Magnify, you will Manifest. I remember when God told that to me, it changed what I magnified in my life. He has the answers and solutions for all of your problems and challenges. You GET to choose what and who you magnify in your life.

If you want to know how to wait on God as you wait on His answers to come to pass, then magnify the answer and not the problems. Meditate on that for a moment. It will help you go from where you are, to where God is taking you.

HEAR GOD

Do you want to know the easiest way to hear what God is saying to you? LISTEN. I know that sounds so fundamental, but many people do not put themselves in a Listening Position.

When you are having a conversation with someone, can you tell if they are  really listening to you or not? God knows when you are listening to Him. Remember, He can speak to your through Words, Images, Feelings and Impressions. So watch and listen as you wait on God.

Finally, its possible God has been waiting on you. He may have told you to do something that you have not done yet. So as you choose to trust, thank, love, magnify and hear God, ask Him if you need to do something you have not done yet as you wait on God.

A reason you wait on God is because ________________.

What if I really struggle to hear God accurately, even though I keep falling down. Keep trying with many mistakes.

God will never give up on you at all. He will never leave you nor forsake you. The more you Listen to Him, the more you WILL hear His voice.

I have found the Gift of Prophesy, Gift of Tongues & Interpretation come much more readily when I fast and humble myself before God and hunger after God for more and more of Him. I have been used in many of the gifts of the Spirit and feel humbled every time. I don’t feel that God can use a proud person who glories more in himself than he does his maker.

Humility is KEY. The Bible says, God resists the proud, but He gives Grace to the humble. Stay humble.
